All major holidays, spring break will be charged at peak rate.
April 2024 Eclipse may be charged up to three times the peak rate.

We are happy to offer to our guests this beautiful, hill country home – HANG YOUR HAT! This custom cut stone home is located on the Golf Course in the Concan Country Club area. Surrounded by the native oaks, Hang Your Hat is 6 bedrooms/6 ½ baths/outdoor kitchen & TV/pool /sand volleyball – perfect vacation home for your family and friends to enjoy.
Each of the roomy bedrooms has a TV, private bath, and closet. There are two master suites in Hang Your Hat. The open floor plan is inviting for relaxing while visiting or creating one of those famous Frio vacation meals! Granite countertops and a large eating bar complete your central living space. The back windows bring the outdoor views indoors. You will step out onto a large covered porch and amazing outdoor kitchen area. A 2nd refrigerator, half bath, flat screen TV, granite entertaining bar, fire pit, BBQ pit, volleyball, and private swimming pool /hot tub, complete Hang Your Hat to be the perfect rental for your Frio vacation! Hang Your Hat has amenities that everyone in your group to enjoy.

To help keep the cost of your rental down, we do offer our guest the option to bring their own Linens and Towels. We do offer the option to rent them at an extra cost. If wanting to rent linens and towels for your stay, please allow us 4 weeks prior to arrival notice. Make note that we do have a limited supply and cannot guarantee we will have lines and towels readily available.

What to Bring.
LINENS: Bring linens and towels, pillows, blanket/bedspread are provided.
TOWELS: Bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels and pool towels.
CHAIRS: Bring folding or sack chairs to take to the river. The chairs at the rental should not be removed from the property.
PAPER GOODS: Paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, paper plates, plastic cups, plastic ware.
SOAP: Dishwashing, laundry and hygiene products
BBQ: There are BBQ cooking utensils, but remember to bring charcoal/lighter/matches.
Your kitchen is complete with dinnerware, silverware, glasses, basic cookware, coffee pot, microwave, pots & pans.
We provide:

• Tall kitchen bags
• Paper towels

• Shampoo
• Dishwashing liquid/powder

  Very nice house! Rooms stayed nice and cold, pool & hot tub were amazing. Our only issue (and it’s a small one) if you plan on cooking for a large group bring a few deep pots, we needed larger pans for making sides and all we could find was one small stock pot. Overall great house and we plan on staying there again.

  We really enjoyed the property. We wish it would’ve been sunny so all the kids could enjoy the playground. When they did play on there we wish y’all had mats to clean off the mud. Or mats on the inside so mud and dirt weren’t tracked into the house. We did have an issue with ants in the drawer nest to the stove. We would appreciate more sits to all sit down and eat at the same time. And wish we had shower curtains. But regardless of that we would totally stay there again. Thank you for having us :)

  Plenty of parking & comfortable sleeping, bathroom accommodations. Nice grounds for outside play. The kiddos loved the play structure & pool. So glad for more than adequate pots/pans/dishes/utensils. The outside extended living space for dining, games, poolside & hot tub perfect for adult late night chats & beverages. You’ll need to also bring your own broom/mop, kitchen towels & electric can opener. The BBQ grill is in need of replacement or repair. Overall...4.5 ⭐️s🥹

  My family and I had the best time this year at the river and the Hang Your Hat house was a big part of it. It is a beautiful house with ALL the amenities that you need. It fit our big family of about 25. We all had a wing of the house and everyone had their own bathroom and TV In their room. The pool snd hot tub were amazing. After a long at the river, the outdoor kitchen a d pool we’re the best place to relax. There was a tv outside for music or watching entertainment and plenty of places to sit and eat or relax. We were able to enjoy some games of volleyball at the net provided and horseshoes as well. It was an extremely fun time for our family. 😁
