The kitchen is ideal for cooking together, sharing a glass of wine, and savoring slow, meaningful moments. Step through the back door and onto a spacious, private deck, partly covered for all-weather comfort. Let time slip away as you soak in the hot tub under the stars, share quiet conversations by the fire pit, or enjoy a candlelit dinner at the picnic table. A gas grill stands ready for sunset meals, wrapped in the soft sounds of nature. Beyond the deck, deer often wander through the trees, a gentle reminder that you’re somewhere truly special. Originally built as a “Sunday House” for the boss and his beloved, Live Oak now welcomes you to make amazing memories.

  This was a great little cabin for me, my husband, and our son. It is tucked in the trees, and its A frame is beautiful. The hot tub is perfectly positioned under it to where it protects you from rain but still gives a perfect view of the stars at night! There's a walking trail that takes you down to a small stream. My son loved looking for creatures. Lol. The BBQ grill is run on natural gas so no need to bring charcoal or propane. The bed is in the loft upstairs and its a California king i believe because my king size sheets barely hooked the top corners. It feels like a brick unfortunately. There is a futon type couch downstairs that has a thin mat on it. Which was fine because my son is 5. Make sure to either pay to rent their sheets, towels, rags, a month in advance or remember to pack all of it because there are none and you have to have sheets on the bed per the rules. Also bring toilet paper and all essentials needed. It does have pots pans plates bowls and all of that! Overall we loved our stay. It was perfect for our little family and we can't wait to come back and stay again.

  Absolute amazing couples cabin! Best part was definitely sitting in the hot tub while my husband grilled. There were some bugs, but that was due to location and understandable. It was a great distance from the river crossings, cute little stores, the Hippie Chics, and Garner Stare Park. There was also a trail right by the house that was very peaceful to walk.

One of the best parts of the area is being close to the river, local shops, Hippie Chic’s, and Garner State Park while still having a quiet place to unwind.
